The November 2025 update for Clash of Clans is live and introduces Town Hall 18, new Revenge Tower defence, Guardians that defend the Town Hall, the improved Meteor Golem troop, Totem Spell and a number of new levels for existing troops and structures.
This post will summarise what has been added/changed in one place, however full patch notes can be viewed here:
Town Hall 18
New Buildings
The following structures/changes are unlocked:
- 1 x Revenge Tower
- 2 x Super Wizard Towers (requires two level 17 Wizard Towers each to merge)
- 1 x Wizard Tower (bringing the total to 6)

Supercharge Levels
Supercharge LevelsOnce these buildings have been upgraded to the new max level, it will be possible to Supercharge them:

- Gold Mine
- Elixir Collector
- Dark Elixir Drill
For the existing Supercharged buildings that haven't received new levels, they will retain their Supercharge levels and will still be able to be Supercharged at TH17+.

Spell Levels
The following spells have received new levels:
- Lightning Spell - Level 13
- Healing Spell - Level 12
- Poison Spell - Level 12
- Bat Spell - Level 8
- Haste Spell - Level 7
Pet Levels
The following troops have received new levels:
- Poison Lizard - Levels 11-15 (TH17)
Guardians
Town Hall 18 sees the weapon removed from the Town Hall and it is now defended by a Guardian. You can pick which Guardian defends your Town Hall. They are purely defensive and can’t be used in attacks. As the Town Hall is no longer weaponised, it won’t be targeted by defense targeting Troops/Heroes.
Two Guardians will be available on release:
Longshot
A ranged Guardian that does splash damage and explodes when defeated.
LongshotSmasher
A melee Guardian that does splash damage and when defeated, drops Rage onto the battlefield. Becomes enraged if the Town Hall is destroyed.
SmasherNew Defense: Revenge Tower
Revenge TowerAs buildings in the village get destroyed, the Revenge Tower becomes stronger:
- 0 destroyed: Doesn’t attack
- 5 destroyed:Single target, high damage slow attack
- 20 destroyed: Attack speed increase and attack bounces to second target
- 40 destroyed: Attack speed is very high and attacks bounce to 3 targets
New Merged Defense: Super Wizard Tower
Super Wizard TowerTake 2 of your max level Wizard Towers and merge them into a super defense. Attacks one troop that chains to up to fifteen nearby enemies. Chained targets take less damage.
New Troop: Meteor Golem
Meteor GolemAvailable at Town Hall 17 once the Barracks has been upgraded to level 19. This is an event troop from the Cosmic Rock event that has now been boosted and is permanent.
These Meteormites throw themselves at their target. When separate, they will attack nearby targets or find a friend to form a Meteor Golem.
New Spell: Totem Spell
Totem SpellA new Elixir Spell that is unlocked with Spell Factory level 9 (TH16). This spell distracts ground and air defenses by dropping a Totem. It damages and stuns the area in which it lands.
Crafted Defenses: Season 2
Season 1 has ended, season 2 (lasting 4 months) has started bringing 3 new crafted defenses to TH18:
- Hero Bell: Boosts defending Hero damage and HP
- Bomb Hive: Launches bombs in 4 directions
- Light Beam: A single target beam that has damage falloff over distance
Crafted Defenses: Season 2Fancy Shop
Fancy ShopA new shop tab is being added along with a new Sparky Stones currency.
Earn Sparky Stones by:
- Complete Supercharge Upgrades: 10 Sparky Stones each
- Complete Crafted Defense Module Upgrades: 8 Sparky Stones each
All previously completed Supercharge/Module upgrades will count towards this
Initial shop items are:
- Meteorite Builder Skin (3,200)
- Crafted Statue (500)
- Add charge effect to decos (100 each)
Cost and Time Reductions for TH16/17
This update sees some cost and time reductions, primarily affecting TH17 but there are a couple of TH16 lab levels affected also.
TH17 Upgrade Costs and TimesAssumes 6 builders and no Gold Pass boosts. If you purchase the Gold Pass/use magic items, it will be considerably less. Side note: The hero time is the total for all 5, it can be less if upgraded in parallel

Ranked Improvements
- Temporary Troops are now banned in Ranked Battles, Clan Wars Battles and CWL Battles.
- If a player is inactive in Ranked (not signing up or signing up and not doing any battles) for one tournament, they maintain their previous League status and bonuses for that week of inactivity. In order to maintain their same League ranking for the following week they must sign up for the following week’s tournament before the following week’s tournament (Tuesday 5am UTC).
- Tournament group matchmaking will be less predictable
Changes:
- Leagues 7, 16-27, 29-31: +5 promotion slots
- League 28: +10 promotion slots
- Leagues 28-31: +5 demotion slots
- Leagues 22-23: -2 attacks
- League 25: -4 attacks
Gameplay Changes
Balancing:
- Minion Prince HP has been reduced by 1000 and all of his equipment have additional +500 HP. This shift was done to balance defensive Minion Prince.
- Increase allowed number of donated spells by 1 for level 7 Clans which allows Clans with all the perks to donate up to 4 spells.
- Giant Arrow level 18 damage buffed from 1950 to 2000 (so it can still destroy Supercharged TH18 Air Defenses)
- Heal spell buffed, lasts 300 ms longer than before Heal spell at TH17 heal per second increased by 2
- TH17 Giant +100 HP, +2 DPS
- TH17 Minion +4 HP, +2 DPS
- TH17 Bowler +50 HP, +4 DPS
- TH17 Super Giant +100 HP, +5 DPS
- TH17 Electro Dragon +200 HP,
- TH17 Dragon Rider +10 DPS
- TH17 Super Bowler +100 HP, +10 DPS
- TH17 Super Minion +100 HP, +5 DPS
- TH17 Thrower +100 HP, +10 DPS
Clan War League Shop:
- The cost of the Resource Potion will increase from 5 Clan War League Medals to 10 medals.
General Improvements
- Display info screen for the Skeletons spawned from Skeleton Trap
- Display Builder Base background in skin selection screen for Builder Base heroes
- Player’s own attacks no longer increment the game log message count in Home Village
- Inbox in game log has a new layout
- Revenge battles have a dedicated battle end screen
- Battle log units are now ordered in the following manner from left to right: Troops, siege, heroes, spells, clan banner, cc troops, cc siege, cc spells
- Knocked out defensive heroes now become transparent when close proximity to a ground unit
- Builders are now 3D.
