The December 2021 update for Clash of Clans is now live and introduces a new Siege Machine, a new Super Troop, a large number of cost and time reductions and some new collector levels.
New Siege Machine: Flame Flinger

A new Siege Machine has been added, the Flame Flinger. The Flame Flinger has a ranged attack, launching Fire Spirits at defenses which sets the area on fire. Damage will continue to be applied over time, which can be effective for destroying nearby walls.
Due to having a range advantage, the Flame Flinger has less HP than the other Siege Machines. Its HP also decays over time, similar to the Siege Barracks and taking damage will speed up it’s destruction.

The Flame Flinger is available at TH14 once the Workshop has been upgraded to level 6, however it can be donated to players TH10 and up like the other Siege Machines.

New Super Troop: Super Dragon

There are a number of Dragon variations already in the game, however this is the coolest hottest looking one of them all. The Super Dragon doesn’t have a preferential target and deals splash damage to the area being attacked.

- Housing space: 40
- Movement speed: 14
The Super Dragon is available at TH12 once the Dragon has been upgraded to level 7.

Cost and Time reductions
A substantial number of cost and time reductions have been made for upgrades between TH3 to TH13. This will speed up each player's progress between those Town Hall levels. Rather than list all of the specific changes here, Darian posted full details to the Clash of Clans subreddit:

New Levels
Collectors
New levels have been added for the Gold Mine, Elixir Collector and Dark Elixir Drill and are available at Town Hall 12. Not only will this increase passive income for those players, it will also increase the amount of loot available when attacking villages that have upgraded their collectors.

Walls
An additional 125 walls can be upgraded to level 15, bringing the total to 325 (all wall pieces).
Star Bonus Increase
The amount of loot received from the daily Star Bonus has been increased for all leagues. This is the amount of loot you receive after getting 5 stars from attacking other villages in multiplayer each day.
